La cosa: il Covid-19 arriva in Antartide e online nascono parallelismi con il cult di John Carpenter

È notizia di qualche giorno fa che il Covid-19 è arrivato anche in una base in Antartide. Nella base Generale Bernardo O'Higgins cilena sono stati registrati ben 36 persone positive al virus, 10 civili e 26 militari. E in virtù di ciò moltissimi utenti della rete hanno inevitabilmente pensato a La cosa, cult di John Carpenter arrivato nelle sale nel 1982.

Ecco la sinossi ufficiale del film di Carpenter del 1982:

In una stazione scientifica dell'Antartide, dodici uomini trovano un essere alieno caduto dal cielo e rimasto nel ghiaccio per centomila anni. Una volta scongelato, l'alieno mutante inizia a distruggere ciò che trova sul suo cammino, spargendo terrore e assumendo le sembianze di uno degli scienziati.

Nel cast del film di Carpenter troviamo Kurt Russell, Wilford Brimley, T.K. Carter, David Clennon, Keith David, Richard Dysart, Charles Hallahan, Peter Maloney, Richard Masur, Donald Moffat, Joel Polis e Thomas G. Waites.
