Toronto 2015, annunciati i primi film: apre Demolition, première mondiale per The Martian
The Martian di Ridley Scott e Demolition di Jean-Marc Vallèe tra le grandi anteprime mondiali della 40esima edizione del Toronto International Film Festival
Il film d'apertura sarà Demolition, diretto da Jean-Marc Vallée, con Jake Gyllenhaal e Naomi Watts. Numerose, come sempre, le premiére mondiali, alcune forse "soffiate" a Venezia (che quest'anno inizierà due giorni dopo rispetto a Toronto, entrambi i festival lanciano spesso grandi titoli che rivedremo poi nella stagione degli Oscar): da The Martian di Ridley Scott a Trumbo con Bryan Cranston, passando per Where Do We Invade Next, il nuovo documentario di Michael Moore, Stonewall di Roland Emmerich, il biopic su Lance Armstrong diretto da Stephen Frears (The Program), Freeheld di Peter Sollett (con Julianne Moore).
