Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings dei Marvel Studios al cinema nel 2021 | Comic-Con 2019

Durante il lungo panel al Comic-Con di San Diego, i Marvel Studios hanno annunciato ufficialmente che il nuovo film Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings uscirà il 12 febbraio 2021 negli Stati Uniti.

Tony Leuing interpreterà il Mandarino mentre Simu Liu interpreterà il protagonista Shang-Chi. Nel cast anche Awkwafina.

Il film su Shang-Chi, personaggio creato nel 1973 da da Steve Englehart (testi) e Jim Starlin (disegni), verrà diretto da Destin Daniel Cretton (Il castello di vetro). Attualmente lo sceneggiatore asioamericano Dave Callaham (Wonder Woman 1984, Spider-Man: Un Nuovo Universo) resta ancora collegato allo script.

I Marvel Studios vorrebbero avviare un’operazione analoga a quella fatta con Black Panther ingaggiando una squadra decisamente corposa di talenti asiatici.
