Tramite un tweet sul proprio profilo Twitter ufficiale europeo Koei Tecmo ha annunciato che, al momento, non ci sono piani per portare nel Vecchio Continente Project Zero: The Raven Haired Shrine Maiden, nuovo episodio della serie, da poco disponibile in Giappone per Wii U. La comunicazione è arrivata dopo che sul social network era stata lanciata una campagna per la localizzazione del gioco, sotto l'hashtag #WeWantFatalFrame.
