I premi del sindacato degli sceneggiatori di Hollywood verranno assegnati il 5 febbraio 2011...

WGASono state annunciate le nomination della sezione televisiva dei Writers Guild Awards del 2011, i premi di categoria del sindacato degli sceneggiatori di Hollywood.

Tra i nominati, moltissime serie familiari, ma anche alcune interessanti novità. Per esempio, tra le serie drammatiche, oltre agli ormai tradizionali Mad Men, Dexter, Friday Night Lights e Breaking Bad, fa il suo ingresso l'acclamata serie della HBO Boardwalk Empire.

Il finale di Lost è stato nominato al premio come miglior episodio per una serie drammatica, assieme a due episodi di Breaking Bad e uno di Mad Men e Dr. House.

Nella categoria delle migliori serie comedy, troviamo Glee, Modern Family, Nurse Jackie e gli ormai tradizionali 30 Rock e The Office. Unica nomination per The Walking Dead, quella come miglior nuova serie.

Le premiazioni si terranno a Los Angeles e New York il 5 febbraio 2011.
