John Barrowman di Torchwood sarà un personaggio ricorrente in Arrow

John Barrowman (Doctor Who, Torchwood) ha ottenuto un ruolo ricorrente in Arrow, il nuovo show di The CW basato sulle avventure dell'eroe Freccia Verde: i produttori non hanno voluto dire molto sul suo personaggio. Al momento sappiamo solo che Barrowman sarà “un uomo elegante, tanto misterioso quanto benestante... sarà un conoscente della famiglia Queen e una figura di spicco a Starling City.”

A scrivere e produrre lo show, che non avrà legami con Smallville, Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim e Andrew Kreisberg. La regia è stata affidata a David Nutter (Dark Angel, Smallville).

Nel cast di Arrow troviamo Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), David Ramsey (John Diggle), Susanna Thompson (Moira Queen), Katie Cassidy (Dinah “Laurel” Lance), Willa Holland (Thea Queen), Colin Donnell (Tommy Merlyn), Paul Blackthorne (Detective Quentin Lance) e Jamey Sheridan (Robert Queen).

La premiere di Arrow andrà in onda il 10 ottobre negli USA.
