Inception trionfa ai VES Awards

Si è tenuta ieri sera la nona edizione dei VES Awards, i premi di categoria della Visual Effects Society, la categoria degli artisti degli effetti visivi americani.

A trionfare è stato Inception, che già aveva fatto incetta di nomination, assieme al cartoon DreamWorks Dragon Trainer. Il film di Nolan si è aggiudicato il premio come migliori effetti visivi in un film con grande utilizzo di effetti visivi, e riconoscimenti per le ambientazioni, le miniature e il compositing. Nolan, inoltre, ha vinto il VES Visionary Award.

Dayn & Night della Pixar ha vinto il premio come miglior cortometraggio animato, mentre Hereafter di Clint Eastwood ha ottenuto il premio per i migliori effetti visivi in un film senza grande utilizzo di effetti visivi.
