Non ne abbiamo mai azzeccati così tanti nel nostro pronostico, ma le sorprese non sono mancate:tre Oscar a The Bourne Ultimatum, zero oscar tecnici per Transformers (e addirittura uno alla Bussola d'Oro), statuetta a Tilda Swinton (lei stessa è rimasta praticamente shockata). Premiati gli italiani Dario Marianelli (compositore), Dante Ferretti e Francesca Lo Schiavo (scenografi).
