Nel 2012, anno in cui la Universal festeggia il centenario con una serie d'iniziative di cui vi abbiamo più volte parlato nel corso dei mesi, su tutte la riproposizione in Alta Definizione di alcune delle sue pellicole più famose e indimenticabili, c'è un gruppo di film che non poteva di sicuro mancare all'appello.
Quelle pellicole erano il perfetto punto d'incontro fra la sensibiità europea e il senso degli affari di un genio nato il 17 gennaio 1867 nel quartiere ebraico di Laupheim, in Germania.
