Golden Globes 2016: tutte le nomination!

Sono state annunciate oggi presso il Beverly Hilton Hotel di Los Angeles le nomination alla 73esima edizione dei Golden Globe Awards, presentate da Angela Bassett, America Ferrera, Dennis Quaid e Chloë Grace Moretz.

Come sempre vi ricordiamo che i premi, storicamente, contano più per il valore glamour che per la reale influenza sugli Oscar, in quanto vengono decisi dall'Hollywood Foreign Press Association, una organizzazione di giornalisti che rappresentano l'industria cinematografica USA sui media esteri e che non ha nulla a che fare con l'Academy. Quest'anno la cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il 10 gennaio, due giorni dopo la scadenza delle nomination agli Oscar (che verranno poi annunciate il 14 gennaio). A presentare la serata vi sarà nuovamente Ricky Gervais.

Un anno fa era stato Boyhood il grande vincitore dei Globes, ed è possibile che quest'anno accada a Carol di Todd Haynes, che ottiene ben cinque nomination. Il potere dei Fratelli Weinstein torna quindi a farsi sentire a Hollywood, e infatti anche The Hateful Eight ottiene tre nomination (anche se perde quella come miglior film). Quattro nomination per The Revenant, Steve Jobs e The Big Short (La Grande Scommessa), mentre The Danish Girl, The Martian, Room e Spotlight ne ottengono tre. Ottime notizie per i fan di Mad Max: Fury Road, anche se la pellicola ottiene solo due nomination, si tratta di quelle come miglior film e miglior regista.

Proprio per via della loro scarsa influenza sull'Academy, i Globes non sono facili da usare come indicatore. Va sottolineato comunque come, unendo le nomination ad altri premi recenti come i SAG, senza dubbio The Big Short stia emergendo come un film sul quale si sta concentrando molto interesse, a fianco di Spotlight, Carol, e Trumbo.
