Emmy 2024: tutti i vincitori, il trionfo di Shōgun e The Bear

È andato praticamente tutto come previsto alla cerimonia dei Primetime Emmy Awards che si è tenuta questa notte a Hollywood. I premi dell'accademia della televisione americana sono tornati a settembre dopo che, a causa degli scioperi dell'anno scorso, la passata cerimonia si era tenuta a gennaio di quest'anno (motivo per cui potrebbe sembrarvi di vivere una sorta di déjà-vu).

Cerimonia quasi priva di sorprese, dicevamo, perché come indicavano tutti i pronostici a trionfare sono stati i due grandi favoriti della stagione, ovvero Shōgun e The Bear, entrambe serie prodotte da FX (e HULU). In particolare Shōgun ha battuto il record storico di Game of Thrones (già la settimana scorsa con i Creative Emmy Awards) con ben 18 premi di cui 4 ieri sera. Dal momento in cui FX ha stabilito che avrebbe tolto la serie dalla categoria miglior miniserie (ha infatti annunciato non una ma ben altre due stagioni), si è spostata nella categoria miglior serie drammatica, quest'anno meno competitiva del solito. Per The Bear è invece una conferma nella sezione delle serie comiche con ben cinque premi agli attori (record storico per la categoria): l'unica vera sorpresa della serata è che non ha vinto il premio per la miglior serie comica, che le è stato strappato da Hacks. Forse una presa di coscienza, da parte dell'Academy, di quanto si dice da tempo, e cioè che The Bear non è una commedia nonostante venga proposta come tale agli Emmy.

A vincere l'Emmy per la miglior miniserie, infine, è stato come previsto Baby Reindeer.
