La Broadcast Film Critics Association ha rivelato oggi i vincitori della 21esima edizione degli Annual Critics Choice Awards. A trionfare nella sezione cinema Il Caso Spotlight, che ha vinto il premio come miglior film, miglior cast d'insieme e miglior sceneggiautra, e Mad Max: Fury Road, che ha raccolto il maggior numero di premi. Solitamente i punti in comune con gli Oscar sono pochissimi, trattandosi di un premio della critica, e in passato sono state parecchie le volte che i Critics Choice hanno premiato film che poi hanno perso l'Oscar: basti pensare all'anno scorso con Boyhood, o a The Social Netwok o di nuovo a Brokeback Mountain. In questo caso, Spotlight ha battuto altri sette film nominati all'Oscar come miglior film più altri tre che non l'hanno ottenuta.
