Si sono svolti ieri i Creative Arts Emmys, la cerimonia nella quale vengono assegnati i premi tecnici e creativi della televisione USA.

A trionfare la rete via cavo HBO, che ha raccolto la bellezza di 29 premi, grazie anche a Game of Thrones - il Trono di Spade, che ha portato a casa 8 statuette. Ma la HBO ha vinto anche premi per il miglior film tv (Bessie, con Queen Latifah), miglior programma per bambini, miglior documentario o speciale nonfiction, miglior serie documentario o non fiction. Going Clear ha vinto tre premi: oltre a miglior documentario, anche miglior sceneggiatura e miglior regia per un film nonfiction.

Passando alle migliori guest star, Reg E. Cathey ha vinto il premio come miglior attore per House of Cards, mentre Margo Martindale ha vinto quello come migliore attrice per The Americans. Transparent di Amazon vince il premio per la migliore guest star maschile in una comedy (Bradley Whitford), oltre al premio come migliore colonna sonora nei titoli di testa.

Sul fronte dell'Animazione, Cartoon Network porta  acasa un premio come miglior serie animata di formato breve (Adventure Time) e miglior programma animato (Over the Garden Wall), mentre il miglior doppiatore è stato Hank Azaria per I Simpsons.

Il counter dei premi vede prima la HBO con 29 statuette, seconda la NBC con 11, terza FX con 8. ABC, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Fox e PBS ottengono 4 statuette.
