And Just Like That... 2, i fan scovano un errore di continuità con Sex and the City nel secondo episodio

I fan di Sex and the City hanno notato un errore di continuità non indifferente nel secondo episodio della seconda stagione di And Just Like That..., sequel della fortunata serie prodotta da Michael Patrick King. Nella puntata, andata in onda assieme alla prima ieri sera su MAX (in Italia su SKY e in streaming su NOW), c'è una scena in cui Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler) e Charlotte (Kristin Davis) parlano con Lily (Cathy Ang) spiegando che dovrà trovare i soldi per una tastiera nuova. Invece di trovarsi un lavoro part-time, Lily vende buona parte del suo guardaroba online (facendo venire i responsabili del sito The Real Deal a selezionare i capi da mettere online). Charlotte è furiosa, e passa la cena aspettando una risposta dal sito che le assicuri la restituzione di un abito di Chanel e una ammissione di colpa per essersi "approfittati di una minorenne". "Buona fortuna," borbotta Harry. "Io aspetto ancora le scuse da mia madre, ed è morta 10 anni fa!"

Ed è qui che scatta l'errore di continuità. I fan di Sex and the City ricorderanno infatti che nell'ultima stagione della serie, Charlotte finiva per rinunciare alla sua fede episcopale e convertirsi all'ebraismo pur di sposare Harry. Nella premiere della sesta stagione, l'avvocato le confessava infatti: "Ho promesso a mia madre che avrei sposato una donna ebrea, proprio poco prima che morisse". Era il 2003, mentre And Just Like That... è ambientato ai giorni nostri. Secondo la dichiarazione di Harry nella nuova stagione, sua madre sarebbe dovuta morire intorno al 2013, dieci anni dopo il finale di Sex and the City.

L'errore è stato notato da molti fan, che ovviamente lo hanno evidenziato sui social. Può sembrare una svista da poco, ma il giuramento di Harry fu l'origine di una delle storyline più importanti dell'ultima stagione.
