Moonrise Kingdom vince i Gotham Awards, guida le nomination agli Independent Spirit

E' iniziata ufficialmente la stagione dei premi, e mentre sabato sera si terranno i Governor Awards (primo anticipatore per quanto riguarda gli Oscar), Hollywood premia anche il cinema indipendente.

Ieri sera si sono tenuti infatti i Gotham Awards, dedicati al cinema indipendente, dove ha trionfato Moonrise Kingdom di Wes Anderson, vincendo il premio come miglior film. Miglior performance d'insieme per Emily Blunt, Rosemarie DeWitt e Mark Duplass in Your Sister’s Sister, mentre Benh Zeitlin con il suo Beasts of the Southern Wild si è dovuto accontentare del premio come miglior regista.

Non è tutto, perché Moonrise Kingdom domina anche le nomination agli Independent Spirit Awards 2013, assieme a Silver Linings Playbook. Entrambi i film hanno ottenuto nomination come miglior film, regista e sceneggiatura; Bruce Willis è stato nominato come migliore attore non protagonista e Jennifer Lawrence e Bradley Cooper come protagonisti. Tra gli altri nominati come miglior film troviamo Beasts of the Southern Wild, Bernie e Keep the Lights On. Doppia nomination per Matthew McCounaughey per Magic Mike e Killer Joe.
