The Walking Dead: lo stuntman John Bernecker è morto, in rete il cordoglio degli attori

Dopo essere stato dichiarato cerebralmente morto, ieri lo stuntman John Bernecker si è spento all'Atlanta Medical Center, dove era stato ricoverato in condizioni disperate nella giornata di giovedì. Secondo quanto riportato da THR, i famigliari hanno dato il consenso alla donazione degli organi:

La famiglia di John Bernecker è distrutta nel confermare che John è morto a causa dei traumi riportati. Anche se sono devastate dalla loro perdita, le persone amate da John si sono assicurate che la sua eredità continui a vivere, non solo attraverso i contributi personali e professionali che ha dato nel corso della sua vita, ma anche attraverso la loro generosa decisione di permettere a John di salvare delle vite come donatore di organi.

Bernecker, professionista esperto, è caduto accidentalmente da una balconata collocata a circa 9 metri da terra mentre era impegnato nelle riprese dell'ottava stagione di The Walking Dead. Trasportato immediatamente in ospedale, a distanza di circa 12 ore dal ricovero in terapia intensiva i medici non hanno potuto fare altro che dichiarare la morte cerebrale del giovane. Le macchine lo hanno tenuto in vita mentre la famiglia si organizzava per dare le disposizioni del caso.
