Al San Diego Comic-Con 2017 si è tenuta la XXIX premiazione degli ambiti Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards

Nella notte italiana, al San Diego Comic-Con 2017 si è tenuta la XXIX premiazione degli ambiti Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, gli Oscar del fumetto americano intitolati al papà di Spirit e della graphic novel.

Anche quest'anno ci sono grandi riconoscimenti per Saga (Miglior serie regolare), di Brian K. Vaughan (Miglior scrittore) e Fiona Staples (Miglior disegnatrice e Miglior copertinista).

La Marvel porta a casa due statuette grazie a Visione (Miglior serie limitata), di Tom King (scrittore anche della Miglior storia breve, Good Boy, disegnata da David Finch per Batman Annual #1), Gabriel Hernandez Walta e Michael Walsh, e L'Imbattibile Squirrel Girl (Miglior serie per teenager) di Ryan North ed Erica Henderson.

Grande successo, in ambito DC Comics, per Wonder Woman: The True Amazon (Miglior graphic album) di Jill Thompson (Miglior artista pittorica/multimediale).

La Miglior nuova serie è invece l'amatissima Black Hammer, di Jeff Lemire e Dean Ormston, edita da Dark Horse, in Italia da BAO Publishing. Di seguito trovate tutti i vincitori.
