E' Rango il vincitore della 39esima edizione degli Annie Awards, il premio della categoria dei film di animazione che stato condotto da Patton Oswalt ieri sera.

Cinque i premi vinti dal cartoon della Paramount Pictures diretto da Gore Verbinski, che tuttavia non ha vinto il premio come regista, andato a Jennifer Yuh Nelson per Kung Fu Panda 2.

Rango diventa quindi il favorito all'Oscar come miglior film di animazione.
