E' Gravity il trionfatore dei VES Awards: il film di Alfonso Cuaron (che ha ritirato il Visionary Award) ha ottenuto ben sei statuette su sei nomination...
Si sono tenuti questa notte a Los Angeles i VES Awards, i premi consegnati dall'industria degli effetti visivi in vista degli Oscar.
A trionfare, come previsto, Gravity di Alfonso Cuaron: il film ha ottenuto sei premi su sei nomination, tra cui migliori effetti visivi in un film guidato dagli effetti visivi. Alfonso Cuaron è stato inoltre premiato con il Visionary Award.
Solo Lo Hobbit: la Desolazione di Smaug ha battuto Gravity in una categoria, e cioè quella di miglior personaggio animato in un film live-action, con Smaug.
