Oscar 2013: tutte le nomination!

Sono state appena annunciate le nomination all'85esima edizione degli Academy Awards. Alle ore 5:30 del mattino il conduttore della cerimonia di premiazione Seth MacFarlane (creatore dei Griffin e di American Dad e regista di Ted, oltre che ottimo crooner) e l'attrice Emma Stone hanno presentato la lista dei candidati, che contiene non poche sorprese.

Innanzitutto parliamo delle sorprese positive: parecchi i riconoscimenti per Amour di Michael Haneke, il quale non era mai stato nominato prima all'Oscar come miglior regista. Da notare anche la nomination a Emmanuelle Riva come migliore attrice protagonista: è la più anziana nominata, e concorrerà con la più giovane, la piccola Quvenzhané Wallis di Beasts of the Southern Wild, che quest'anno compierà dieci anni. Ottimi risultati anche per Les Misérables, ma non la pioggia di nomination che ci si poteva aspettare: 8 complessive, ma Tom Hooper non è stato incluso nella cinquina dei migliori registi. Escluso dai DGA, anche Quentin Tarantino non è presente nella cinquina - una delusione per Django Unchained, assieme alle quasi mancate nomination agli attori (solo Christoph Waltz), tra cui spicca quella di Leonardo DiCaprio (tra i favoriti alla vigilia) che ancora una volta perde l'occasione di ottenere un Oscar. Saltano la nomination a miglior regista anche Ben Affleck (Argo, Affleck non è stato nominato neanche come attore) e Kathryn Bigelow (Operazione Zero Dark Thirty), anche se i loro film ottengono la nomination a miglior film.

Meno scontata era la candidatura di 007 - Skyfall e Il Cavaliere Oscuro - il Ritorno a miglior film, o a Sam Mendes o Christopher Nolan come registi, ma il fatto che non sia avvenuto conferma ancora una volta che l'Academy guarda a fatica ai blockbuster di intrattenimento. Tre nomination puramente tecniche per Lo Hobbit: un Viaggio Inaspettato.

Per quanto riguarda il numero di nomination, Lincoln ne ottiene 12, Vita di Pi ne ottiene 11, Les Misérables 8 e Argo 7. Cinque nomination per Zero Dark Thirty e Django Unchained. Da notare il trionfo dell'animazione stop-motion: tre dei cinque film di animazione nominati all'Oscar sono stati realizzati in questa tecnica. Altra curiosità, l'ultima nomination per Eiko Ishioka, straordinaria costumista di Biancaneve morta prematuramente nel 2012.

Insomma, prepariamoci a una serie di sorprese tra un mese e mezzo: potrebbe avvenire, come poche volte in passato, che una pellicola vinca il premio come miglior film ma non come miglior regista...
